International Friends School, opened in 2018, is an independent, non-profit school serving children Toddler - 4th Grade in Bellevue WA. We grow one grade a year until 5th grade.
Our specialized bilingual program nurtures Mandarin-English 21st century learners.
As the first Quaker Friends School in Washington State, we intentionally integrate the testimonies of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship into the everyday experiences of our teachers and students.

Students from the Toddler to Kindergarten engage in EF centers to help them become organized learners. These centers involve an Executive Functioning process such as working memory, categorization, measurement + data. Tasks range in complexity based on the age of the child. Students in PreK2 and up must take care of their own system for checking off their work, evaluating it and caring for their resources. EF at it’s best.
