IFS is proud to be an independent and not-for-profit school. We are accredited with the Department of Early Learning (DEL) and as we grow the elementary/middle school, we will work to be a Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS) school. Additionally, we are part of the International School Studies Network (ISSN) and The Friends Council on Education (FCE).
We opened in fall, 2018 with a pre-school and pre-kindergarten class and we will grow a grade a year until 8th grade. Fall, 2019 we will add kindergarten.
